A Joyous Transition Inc. exists to help women and families rebuild during life’s most challenging seasons. Through holistic wellness programs, peer support, and practical life-skills development, their work helps turn periods of transition into opportunities for growth, stability, and leadership.

The Work We Support Through A Joyous Transition Inc.
Your purchase helps support programs and initiatives designed to promote wellness, stability, and long-term empowerment, including:
- A Joyous Renewal Cohort – A six-month women’s wellness and peer-support program focused on physical, mental, social-emotional, spiritual, employability, and financial wellness.
- The Four F’s Project (Fun, Fit, Friendly Friday) – A youth-centered initiative focused on fitness, character development, leadership, and family engagement.
- Peer Support & Skill-Building Services – Individual and group sessions supporting mental wellness, life skills, goal setting, and stabilization.
- Housing & Stability Navigation – Assisting women and families with housing applications, employment referrals, and community resource coordination.
- Educational Advocacy (IEP/504 Support) – Supporting families navigating school-based services before referral to long-term care systems.
- Community Fundraisers & Events – Including wellness weeks, empowerment events, and collaborative fundraisers that reinvest into programming.
- Partnership Development – Collaborating with local businesses, faith-based organizations, and community leaders to increase sustainability and impact.
- Maternal Wellness Cohort (Launching 2026) – A structured program focused on postpartum wellness, nutrition, emotional regulation, parenting stabilization, and resource navigation. The cohort includes clinical oversight and facilitation support from contracted Clinical Director.
- Clinical Oversight Structure – AJT operates with contracted licensed clinical leadership to ensure program integrity, ethical standards, and appropriate referral pathways when needed.
ShimHER Community Support
In addition to our nonprofit partnership, ShimHER is developing a grocery gift card program to help address essential everyday needs. This initiative will provide direct support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and food-related hardship. Updates will be shared as the program launches.
